Hotels

Yesterday I asked if it has been decided which hotels the OU will use for SXR208. Looks like for March 2010, which is when I will be going, they will be using the Hotel Delfin Mar. It looks quite nice from the photos and the panoramic pictures on their website, although it will be little more than a base.

From experience the Spanish tend not to be shy about doing building or repair work, so that could have an interesting impact on my attempts to sleep during the day after a night at the Observatory. I suspect some visits from Mr Gordons and Mr Schweppes will come in handy, either that or earplugs, which of course will be considerably cheaper and distinctly more practical.

As this course (along with S282) will be featuring very early on in my level 2 study, I will need to keep my wits about me for the week.
