Helpful advice

I have found a number of people on Facebook who have studied SXR208, and I have taken the liberty of asking a number for advice.

A summary of the advice I've had so far is:

1. It does get cool at night in the spring. Snow is not unusual. Take a coat or a thick jumper.
2. Ask questions. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
3. Get plenty of sleep in the week before you go. Take earplugs/Nytol to help you sleep during the day, a good alarm clock, and find a supermarket that sells ProPlus and energy drinks.
4. Consider staying for extra days either before the course or after it. You don't get much of a chance to sightsee around beautiful Mallorca.
5. Prepare thoroughly before you go, otherwise you simply won't make the most of the time on the equipment.
6. Be careful of your alcohol consumption! You are away from home and abroad, but it isn't technically a holiday.
7. Make copious, copious notes. It will really help when you come to do the assessment afterwards.

Starting to get a little bit exited... this is not altogether helpful when the course is almost exactly six months away.
