Mellow

3.47pm. After speaking to Alan on the phone (lovely to touch base!) I sent myself packing to bed. I closed my eyes but sleep didn't really come. The alarm woke me up however, so I think I probably got about 20 minutes actual sleep. Still, even the time that I wasn't asleep was still restful, so I'm as happy as I could be with that really.

Checked my messages quickly, Alan very kindly posted my MST121 TMA01(ii), which is great. Jumped into the shower, had a comparatively long shower and a shave (not that there was much stubble to shave off).


Now I'm just getting dressed, and I'm listening to Vicente Amigo's Cuidad de las Ideas album, which is amazing. Although you have to go to Andalucía for flamenco really, there is something warming to me about listening to flamenco in Spain, compared to listening to it in England.

Tonight is I believe the spectroscopy project, so I will need to have all my wits about me. Once I'm dressed I will have yet another read of the project booklet, to try and solidify what we need to do in my head. We're not working with Margaret tonight, I gather it's with a lady called Jean, who I don't think we've met before.
